It's Called Financial Advising for a Reason
There seems to be a misconception about what a financial advisor actually does behind the scenes. People imagine our team watching tickers, reading Bloomberg every day and night, and spending every second trading. Sure, we do that. But, that’s not all we do; it’s not even half of it.
Lately, there has been a push for advisors to stray from their path of advice giving and act only as investment managers. They spend their days attempting to outperform the market. And while this may work for a short period of time, over years it can be expected that they will under-perform.
Advisors have donned the hat of “day traders.” They trade individual securities based on the whim of the markets. Not only does it consume their time—it is in direct conflict with the advice they give their clients… be patient.
When you hire a financial advisor, you should be receiving more than just asset management; that’s what online brokerage platforms are for. We are here for education and planning. Do you need advice on which insurance policy is best? We have a history of helping our clients pick the plan at fits their needs best. Do you need help with your estate planning? We can help with that too. Unsure about buying or building a new house? You guessed it, we are ready to help.
Any financial crossroads you find yourself at, we are here to advise you. That’s what we love most about this job—helping people attain their financial goals and live their lives to the fullest.
