ABOUT
Nearly a century ago, a family man came to America - working from sunrise until deep into the night to afford his family a better life. His son, Alfred (Fred) Matarazzo grew up watching the close friendship that developed between his father and his trusted accountant.
Fred Matarazzo, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, became a Certified Public Accountant in 1960. As his practice grew, more and more clients began asking for financial advice. Fred decided to expand the firm to give them this guidance - the same way trusted financial professionals had helped his father a generation earlier.
In 1990, Alfred (Al) Matarazzo, Jr. joined his father, creating a financial services firm focused on exemplary client communication. Al was instrumental in developing corporate benefits plans for small businesses interested in retirement planning. From a simple accounting practice, the Matarazzos have created a singular resource for financial services, based on old-world values. Almost sixty years after Fred opened up shop, Zach Matarazzo, Al’s son and Fred’s grandson, joined the business in 2017. Two years later Maddie, Fred's youngest grandchild, also joined the firm. Though Fred Matarazzo passed away in 2012, there is no question that "Granddad" would be ecstatic to see his business enter the third generation.
